Denise Daniel

Specialist in Equine Therapy & Founder

Ever since she can remember, horses have been an important part of Denise’s life. Having grown up alongside racehorses and taking care of them via the family business in Germany, she was always interested in learning about techniques that helped them recover from injuries, improve their overall health and produce a better on-track performance.

It was approximately 30 years ago that Denise watched her first in-person horse osteopath session on one of their stable horses. She was immediately captivated by the positive reaction the horse showed and the increased well-being and performance seen not only in the paddock, but also on the racetrack.

From then on, horse therapy and bodywork has never left her mind and Denise had always had the goal of turning that passion into a horse osteopath / chiropractic career.

After completing an initial, basic horse osteopath training course, she moved her studies into animal acupuncture, acupressure, traditional Chinese medicine, Cranio-Sacral Therapy and Fascial Therapy. Combining those theoretical studies with a wealth of hands of experience in their family’s horse stables, Denise has been fulfilling her dream for the last eight years as a successful horse therapist in Germany.

During these more recent years, Denise has constantly expanded her range of services and garnered more specialized knowledge in various osteopathy, physiotherapy, medicine and bodywork techniques. These included DIPO, IfT and Welter-Boeller studies (where she completed two Osteopathy Masterclasses).

Undoubtedly however, the highlight of her studies was in 2021 when Denise was certified as a Practitioner in the Masterson Method, an effort which included coaching and fieldworks in the UK and Switzerland.

Denise has always tried to learn from the best to ensure the horses she treats receive the most advance treatment available, this focus remains strong in her work ethic to this day by continuing to study different methods and techniques to deliver various treatment alternatives.

Over the last three years, Denise has worked on hundreds of horses in all disciplines (not just Thoroughbreds) including Show Jumpers, Equestrian, Cross Country, Icelandic, all the way through to the local Pony Clubs.

Denise’s unwavering belief is that if a horse feels better, they will also perform better. With that being said, all types of horses, whether sport horses, leisure horses or seniors can benefit from her therapy.

With Denise having recently relocated to Australia, her skillset and experience is now available to horse owners in the Southern Perth, Rockingham, Peel, Pinjarra and Serpentine regions.
